Let's be honest. When you live in Frederick or Firestone and you're craving something bold, something spiced, something that makes your kitchen smell like you actually know what you're doing -- your options are limited.
That's not an insult. It's just geography.
Which is why people keep making the short drive to Dacono. Specifically, to us.
We're 5 Minutes Away. Seriously.
Mustang Indian Nepali Cuisine sits at 114 8th St in Dacono, right in the heart of the Tri-Town area. If you're in Frederick or Firestone, you're looking at a 5 to 10 minute drive. That's less time than it takes to decide what to watch on Netflix. And significantly more rewarding.
What Makes Mustang Different From Every Other Indian Restaurant on the Front Range
Most Indian restaurants in Colorado serve the same menu. Butter chicken, naan, tikka masala. All solid. All familiar.
We serve that too. And we do it well.
But we also serve Nepali food, which is a different thing entirely and something you almost certainly cannot find anywhere else nearby.
Nepali cuisine shares some DNA with Indian food but has its own identity. The spices are different. The techniques are different. And the momos -- our hand-folded steamed dumplings -- are something people drive from Longmont, Brighton, and Erie just to eat.
The Dishes You Need to Order
If it's your first time, here's your roadmap:
Start with the chicken momos. Steamed, hand-folded, served with spicy achar sauce. They disappear fast. Order more than you think you need.
If you're feeling adventurous, get the jhol momo instead. Same dumplings, but served in a warm sesame-tomato broth that turns the whole thing into something closer to a soup. It's a Kathmandu street food staple that you genuinely cannot find anywhere else in the Tri-Town area. Possibly the entire Front Range.
For mains, the butter chicken is rich, creamy, and the kind of thing you'll think about the next day. The lamb biryani is slow-cooked and aromatic and makes the whole table jealous of whoever ordered it. And if you're vegetarian, the palak paneer and malai kofta are anything but an afterthought.
Fresh naan from our tandoor oven comes with everything. Get the garlic. Get the jalapeño cheese if you're feeling bold.
We Also Do Catering and Crew Lunches
If you manage a work crew in the Frederick, Firestone, or Dacono area, we do group catering starting at $14.99 per person. Full curry, basmati rice, and a canned soda per person, with naan available as an add-on. Minimum 4 people, maximum 10 for the crew lunch package.
It's become a go-to for construction crews, oil and gas teams, and anyone who's tired of sandwiches.
